Support Sama & Her 3 Siblings
United States
This campaign is to raise funds for the survival of Olfat and Hussein, and their four children: Rose (10), Sama (9), Mohammed (6), and Saif (4). It is a miracle that they have survived the conditions in Gaza. Their home was completely demolished by the occupation forces. They faced heavy bombardment in the Jabalia area, death surrounded them. Their family has been displaced multiple times, most recently (the week of May 19th, 2025), armed Israeli terrorists forced them to walk ~25 miles to the Al-Nasser neighborhood. No food or water, and no place to take shelter or rest.
Sama is their 9-year-old daughter, as pictured; she wears a bandana. When Israeli tanks entered and raided their refugee camp, Sama shook from fear in their tent. As a result of this trauma, over the following days, her hair began to fall out. This is not normal and is a result of the extreme, intentional, psychological torture of a child. Additionally, the family faces complete starvation due to the borders being closed.
Funds will be sent directly to the family and will be used to purchase any available food. Our goal for the family is, first and foremost, to access food and water. In the near future, when the borders open and funds are raised (~$5,000/adult and ~$2,500/child), we would like to evacuate Sama and her family to a country that could provide her with healthcare so that she can receive treatment. Israel has bombed medical centers in Gaza over 700 times since October 2023, and every day this number increases.
We mourn the martyrs of the family, Hussein’s father, sister, niece, and cousin as well as Olfat’s father and brother (all killed in 2023/24).
♡ About the organizer:
My name is Sophia Schach, and I am 22 years old from Minnesota, USA. I met Sama’s family through journalists in 2024. Ever since then, I have been in direct and frequent contact with both of her parents. We are all one family now. I encourage you to support– it makes such a huge difference. Thank you so much for your life-saving support. Sending so many blessings to you all.
